Starting from the very first issue of Wireframe magazine and ending with a final entry in issue 63, CityCraft was an column where I discussed all aspects of the design of game cities, and urban virtual environments. The crafting of imaginary history, game city planning, asset management, civic systems, roads, the vibrancy of civic life, tips and tricks of the craft, and many more subjects were tackled in a way that I hope is still helpful to world builders, level, narrative, and game designers. Interestingly, several interviews with developers who worked on intriguing virtual cities also appeared.
