Starting from the very first issue of Wireframe magazine, CityCraft is an ongoing, fortnightly column where I discuss all aspects of the design of game cities, and urban virtual environments. History, planning, asset management, civic systems, roads, the vibrancy of civic life, and much more are all tackled in a way that I hope is helpful to world builders, level, narrative, and game designers.
